The show garden pays homage to the revitalising influence of urban green spaces, symbolising a message of hope and recovery while igniting the imagination of future generations to envision a different world. The Sixteen premiered the new commission by Will Todd with words by Revd Dr Ayla Lepine to commemorate the creation of the garden.

Will Todd was the special guest of the SCU Alumni Chorus and their conductor Eason Cheng at a performance of MASS IN BLUE in the National Concert Hall of Taiwan.

Will Todd was the artist in residence at the Hannover International Children’s and Youth Choir Festival and worked as workshop leader, facilitator, composer and conductor for a newly commissioned improvised work for youth choirs, hammond organ and percussion.

Watch Will Todd’s extraordinary Symphony of Letters, a musical font with every letter of the alphabet visually realised in the written score.

Combining traditional requiem texts with a contemporary libretto by Dr. Robert Walker, Will Todd’s “mini opera” for soloists, choir, and chamber orchestra is a dramatic journey through the stages of grief.

Written by six writers from diverse backgrounds and composed by Will Todd and Jasdeep Singh Degun, Migrations is an an unmissable epic drama on a huge scale. Performed by an expanded WNO Orchestra and joined by a cast of 100 performers, including WNO Chorus, Renewal Choir Community Chorus, Bollywood dancers and a children’s chorus.

Directed by Caroline Chaneywith set and costume designs by Leslie Travers, Opera Collective Ireland’s touring production features a vibrant young Irish cast and the Irish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Stephen Barlow.

The University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir premiered Let All The People Praise You at their concert “Dreams and Visions” 19 February 2022 in St Machar’s Cathedral, Old Aberdeen. Scored for SATB and piano with bass, drums and alto sax you can watch the premiere here.

Taking inspiration from the trend of painting rainbows and putting them in windows as a sign of a hopeful future, Like A Rainbow Shining is a song for singers everywhere to enjoy and perform.

Will Todd has joined Into Opera and Performance Poet Adisa the Verbalizer to work with Six primary schools in Norwich to develop a major artistic response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Together, they have created a song cycle which is set to forever capture an important slice of social history. These songs will ensure that the perspective of these children , about the Covid-19 pandemic and the sudden changes it brought to their lives, will not be forgotten.
