New solo piano album released

As many of you know, I like to begin each day with ‘free improvisation’ and I’ve been thinking how I might share this with the wider world. So we’ve released an album called Playing Free which is now available to stream and download. For the recording there was no planning or rehearsal. For each track I simply started playing with an intentional absence of ‘pre-thought’. All the 14 tracks are single unedited takes recorded in early January. This is part of my daily artistic practice which connects me back to the touch, sound and playfulness which brought me to the piano as a small child. Experimenting and exploring. Enjoy.
