Other Info: Requiem was commissioned in 2008 by The Fairhaven Singers and premiered at St John's College, Cambridge. Ralph Woodward, conductor of The Fairhaven Singers, says: "This haunting work is both utterly original and eerily familiar, drawing on opera, folk music and plainsong for its inspiration, and revelling in the many gorgeous colours an electric guitar can conjure.” Requiem has recently been published in an organ version, edited and re-created by Ralph Woodward. The electric guitar version of Requiem is available as a recording (CD code Tyalgum TYA003).
