A New Sunrise (Full Score)

Other info: This short instrumental work for strings and harp was written one morning in Rhinebeck New York in 2024 and inspired by the beautiful sunrise that I saw at my friend's house. There is tranquillity in the dawning of a new day, but also challenge, and the arc of the piece moves from the sonorous D major opening through gradually more dissonant material before returning to the stillness and promise of the opening phrases.
