Will Todd's popular Jazz Missa Brevis is now also available for upper voices.
Jazz Missa Brevis' gives new life to the sung Latin Mass texts in an accessible, short setting which embraces a variety of jazz styles, from the swinging jazz waltz 'Kyrie' to the up-beat Latin-groove 'Gloria'. The smooth jazz ballad 'Sanctus', 7/8 'Benedictus' and soulful 'Agnus Dei' complete this inspiring Mass setting.
Underpinned by Todd’s characteristic jazz harmonies and melodic craftsmanship, it is suitable for performance both liturgically and as part of a concert by upper-voice choirs of all abilities.
The work can be accompanied by piano alone (as written or extemporised), piano, bass and drums, or alto saxophone, 2 trumpets and jazz trio (parts available separately). Extra music for optional use when 'Jazz Missa Brevis' is performed liturgically can be purchased as a digital download. Also available for mixed voices (SATB with divisi).
O Magnum Mysterium
Will Todd’s setting of the Christmas Latin text, O magnum mysterium (O great mystery), was commissioned in 2023 for Unionville High School Chorale and Brandywine Valley Chorale and their conductor Jason Throne.

Scored for mixed voices (SATB with occasional divisi) and piano, with optional parts for soprano saxophone and percussion (2 tom-toms, bass drum and suspended cymbal), it incorporates the composer’s lyrical choral style and, through constant semiquaver movement in the piano and a recurring flowing ‘alleluia’ section, a sense of rhythmic energy and joy.
A Jazz Christmas
Will Todd’s innovative, jazz-infused Christmas carol arrangements have been inspiring and delighting choirs, audiences and congregations since their creation for St Martin-in-the-Fields in 2012. They are now brought together in a single volume for a new generation of singers, music lovers and worshippers, complete with newly realised piano parts for select carols and a previously unpublished bonus carol.
A variety of jazz styles merge with rich harmonies to bring new expression to familiar Christmas melodies, arranged for mixed voices (SATB with divisi) and piano, with scope for congregational singing and optional jazz trio and brass ensemble accompaniments.

On This Night
On This Night is an adaptation of the middle movement of Will Todd’s three-movement choral suite Praise All Things, which was written in 2019 for Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, Texas.
This alternative Christmas lyric was created by Todd for this piece as a stand-alone for the 2025 album All Will Be Well.
The glowing jazzy melody inspired the lyrics celebrating the Christmas message. It can be performed by SATB choirs (no divisi) with just piano accompaniment using the part in this vocal score, or extemporised using the given chord symbols, or with an ensemble of piano, bass, drums, alto saxophone, harp and strings (full score and parts available as digital downloads).
