Other Info: The Ballad of Will Jobling was commissioned by The Lemington Male Voice Choir, with words by Ben Dunwell.  The baritone Graeme Danby premiered the work. It is an eerie re-telling of the true story of the hanging of Will Jobling, a Durham miner in the 1840s. Will Jobling is also the subject of Todd and Dunwell's 2001 opera The Blackened Man.
