Other Info: This setting of Psalm 147 was a text chosen by the family of Don R. Read, M.D. and commissioned for his treasured Sanctuary Choir of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas. The setting is in three sections, with a return of the energetic opening music either side of a more lyrical, slower central section. Vocal divisi is optional but preferred if possible. His family writes: ‘We would like this to be an uplifting tribute to the incredible person that our father was - his kindness, joy, and faithfulness.’
