This is an amazing opportunity to learn to The Promise, the brand new choral work by Will Todd which has yet to be premiered in Britain.
Additionally participants will have the opportunity to sing three new pieces by composers Cecilia McDowall, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, and Joanna Gill. The pieces were commissioned by friend of the Festival Hilary Nicholls in memory of her daughter, Clarissa. Each piece reflects on the different stages of Clarissa’s life.
The day will be led by Festival Conductor Neil Ferris, with additional direction from the composers themselves who will each be there with us on the day.
The day will culminate with an informal performance. Friends and family are welcome to come along at 4.00pm to hear the performance - please purchase a £10 audience ticket.
All proceeds from the day will be split equally between LHMF and charity Cardiac Risk in the Young
