Durham Choral Society presents a special celebration of Will Todd, bringing the Durham-born composer’s acclaimed choral–jazz fusion back to his home city with Will himself performing on grand piano.
The concert opens with his vibrant Jazz Missa Brevis, a rhythmic, uplifting setting of the Latin Mass that showcases his signature jazz harmonies. Award-winning chamber choir Voices of Hope will also perform selections from their 2025 album All Will Be Well, featuring previously unrecorded Todd works that explore themes of hope and care for the world around us.
The evening concludes with Will’s powerful Passion Music. With members of the Strictly Smokin’ Big Band and vocalist Alice Grace joining the ensemble, and Will at the piano throughout, this is a rare opportunity.
