Durham Jazz Psalms are settings of Psalms 124, 125 and 126 and were originally written for the 2009 broadcast of Will Todd’s Durham Jazz Evensong from St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, directed by Andrew Earis. Written for SATB with jazz trio, with additional parts for alto and soprano saxophones, trumpet and trombone. They have been recorded by the Choir of St Martin-in-the-Fields and are included on the album Evensong in Blue.
