Man unkind, what mercy shall you find when you are tried?
Man, have mercy.
Your Saviour’s face was shown from heav’n above
to teach us that the grace of man is love.
Poor mankind, what mercy shall you find when you are tried?
Let hatred be forgotten and anger cease.
So may you rise as angels and at peace.
