Tyalgum Press are delighted to announce the addition of five new Will Todd works to the catalogue.

Scored for: SATB & Sax
Level: Moderate
Duration: 4 mins 30
Other Info: The antiphon O Wisdom was commissioned by saxophonist Sam Corkin and is featured on the recording  Drop down, ye heavens: Advent antiphons for choir & saxophone, recorded by Siglo de Oro, conducted by Patrick Allies.  This intriguing piece highlights the saxophone’s natural kinship with the human voice.

“Will Todd’s O Wisdom is a very energetic composition. Much use is made of jazzy syncopation. I think this is a terrific piece in which the music mixes dance-like rhythms and a spirit of proclamation. Todd most effectively marries the old world of the words and the new world of his very twenty-first century music. The soprano saxophone is an extremely prominent extra voice in the Todd piece.” John Quinn, Music Web International
